Written by Terry Watts

Has your school been donated old equipment that has no software or OS installed, or perhaps you are not convinced that the computer is licensed.  If this is the case, you will be pleased to hear the Microsoft has an initiative that could help you.

It is called "Fresh Start" and it enables you to apply to Microsoft with details of the number of donated computers and if successful you could get free licenses for your old equipment.

Fresh Start currently has 2 different Operating Systems on offer.  You can choose from Windows 98 or Windows 2000.

To find out more and to apply, visit http://www.microsoft.com/Education/FreshStart/FreshStart.asp
