When applying Internet Settings to an RM Connect 2.4 network, you will need to make sure that you have downloaded the hfx0084.exe hotfix. This hotfix prevents a known WININET.DLL problem.

Install the hotfix before changing the network

You will also need to change the hosts file, this is distributed as part of the INETOpts package.  The Hosts file is used to resolve the name intranet.  It is a static reference to machines on the network.

Navigate to
D:\RMVA\manage\packages\32bit\WinINETOpts\station\windows
modify the hosts file to update the server IP address.  Also search the D: drive for any other hosts files that may have been created, you will need to modify these files just in case.

The HOSTS file on the file server will also need to be changed to represent the new server IP address.

From a workstation use the Internet Options application from the Change the Network and set the new Internet Configuration.

Now deploy INETOpts package using Application Manager. Reboot machines.
